Here are the before and after samples of a Graphic Artist who came to our firm to have her resume rewritten. As you will notice on her before sample, she was separating her full-time employment from her "contract" work. In addition, she was stating the same information over again in each of her position descriptions.
Our approach was simple. First, we combined all
of her contract work experience into a freelance position
title. Second, since the duties she was performing in each
position were virtually the same, we combined those into one
section.

The second set of before and after examples
were from a Political Campaign Manager. On the before sample
you will see that he was using first person, (I, me, we) in
his resume. Further, he was not successfully highlighting
his obvious strengths that he possessed.
We capitalized on all of the actions he took
in each position. He was then given depth to his background,
which succeeded in his attainment of a National Campaign Manager
position.
